Apply diaper cream to the top of the applicator and gently apply diaper cream. Use a wipe to clean the applicator after use for a quick clean before returning it to its case. For a deeper clean, wash the applicator in warm water with soap. Dry completely before returning to its case.

When you clean baby’s bottom after a bowel movement there’s what you can see, and then there’s everything you can’t like gut microbes which can be damaging to baby’s fragile skin barrier. If the impurities are not fully removed prior to a diaper cream being applied, they are essentially be trapped against the skin further causing irritation.

At first signs of irritation apply liberally (thick like you’re frosting a cake) to baby’s clean dry skin after each diaper change and especially at night until rash is gone.
